List "Island HPs" By JerryBrekhus

Notes: This is a list of peaks that are island highpoints. Both sea islands and lake islands are included. The highest peak on a landform that is connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land is usually listed anyway, especially if "Island" is part of its name.

An area that was naturally a peninsula is included where a canal has severed its connection to the mainland. An example is "Copper Island" (Mt Horace Greeley) on the Keweenaw Peninsula.

Usually, the peaks listed are sea islands or lake island, but a few river islands made the list as well. Lake islands are listed regardless of whether the body of water is natural or a reservoir.
