Peak 12,799 of the Culebra Range

I am interested in climbing Peak 12,799 (Peakbagger), a peak a few miles north of Culebra itself in the Culebra Range. My interest in this obscure peak stems from the fact that it is "myriopodal"; i.e., it has over 10,000 feet of elevation and 1,000 feet of prominence. Does anyone have any knowledge about viable routes to the summit and what I can expect on those routes? I saw John Kirk's .gpx track, which proves that the peak can be accessed without crossing into Cielo Vista Ranch, but that doesn't give me much information about the terrain. The western approach seemed potentially much easier, but getting within a reasonable distance would seemingly require access to Cielo Vista.

That gpx track is hypothetical only.

The peak you're interested is completely private, lying within the boundaries of Trinchera Ranch. The property line with Cielo Vista is just south (~400 ft) of the summit.
