Custom Lists Notes Multiple Paragraphs

In the Notes section for Custom Lists, the public view doesn't seem to register when I push the Enter key.. (to make things easier to see for the reader). It seems to make one long string instead of multiple paragraphs for me. Is there something I could do to fix that?

I fixed on the backend. Carriage returns are converted into <br> tags now on the notes page.
