Google Maps

John, is it possible to add a link to peak profile pages that would open the Google Maps satellite imagery in a full-size window? I've often wished to see the bigger picture, but I've been too lazy to find the peak or feature manually at Google.

Yes, it is possible to link to a new google window, but the map size has to be predefined. Does 1200x900 work?

Here's an example of what I came up with - it shows all peaks in the quadrangle of the peak chosen:

Ice Mountain - Winfield Quad:

That is awesome!

Before, I always ended up having to go to Google Earth on a separate browser window to get the bigger picture. This new link helps save time and makes your site yet closer to the hiker's one-stop site for all their hiking needs! Thanks!
