Made the last one a fun one on Silver Plume, though the summit seemed a lot less grippy in winter.

Ha! I guessed the name without even clicking!

Congratulations Alyson - well done! That is a lot of frickin' peaks.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the site of that list - albeit vicariously... 9 of the Top 10 slots are held by women 8)
So much to climb - so little time!

Mighty impressive. The 1359 total peaks (589 new) was a record as well. Nice work Aly! What a year.

Steve and Susan,

Thank you for your kind words.

It's truly amazing what you can do when:
1.) You get divorced
2.) You get remarried to your soul-mate
3.) You have Fridays off
4.) You have a mountain obsession

Honestly, I owe a lot of thanks to my wonderful husband for everything he has done with helping me!

Congrats Alyson, also thanks for getting to 255 before Sunday so we didn't have to do Slide Mtn! Looks like a better fall peak, when the approach isn't blocked.

Cool photo of Silver Plume...looks a bit similar to McReynolds.

Hey Tim,

I agree about Slide. That would have hurt.

It was great to finally get out with you! We hope to see
You out with us more this summer!

I'm still freaking sick! Arrrrrrrrrrr!

1359!

Brings to mind what Babe Ruth said after setting the single season home run record in 1927.

Wowsa, that’s a bunch of alpine peaks. Congrats to Alyson … and to Teresa for setting the bar at 254 in ’04.
