John Kirk completes Colorado's Highest 100!

Postby RyanSchilling » Mon Jul 30, 2012 10:04 am

John Kirk took an atypical route to Jupiter Mountain on Saturday -- and of course picked up a few other 13ers -- completing the centennials! Way to go, John! I'm pleased I could join you for so many of those peaks.

Congrats John! How many people would ever have the patience to climb 2000+ peaks before they close out this top 100 list? Way to enjoy the journey!

Well done John! Now that you have completed the Hundred Highest, you can turn your attention to a much more demanding list...Colorado's Hundred Lowest!

Counter-intuitive or not, that list looks a bit more challenging

All you need is a big ladder for that one! I know Jim Rickard has a nice one....

Well its about time! :-P

Congrats John, guess you didn't want to save Jupiter for last or join the crowds in Chicago basin.

Luke, that lowest 100 list looks interesting. Good idea! Brian has the lead. I wonder how many of those are technical?

Congrats, John! Only 64 left to finish the 13ers. Will it be this year?

Probably not - I get terribly distracted by 12ers! Next year looks like a strong possibility.

Congrats John! That's a big list! Are you really that close to finishing the 13ers too? I need to check this site more often...

OK - finally an excuse to use all those smilies: :loj: :loj: :loj:    :loj: :loj: :loj:

Nice work John! We were in the process of packing into Sunlight Creek on that Saturday to hit Jagged and inch closer ourselves. 8)

With only 64 13ers left, you should have left Jupiter for last and finished the highest 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 & 600 in one fell swoop!
