I was looking around for some good early season stuff on Joe Grim's awesome site and found mention of two named features not on LOJ, "Symbol Rock" and "Twin Mountain" in the Cherokee Park SWA north of Fort Collins. You can see pictures here: http://www.joeandfrede.com/colorado/elliott/elliott.htm
I did a little more research and found on this site (http://www.coloradohikingtrails.net/wiki/Cherokee_Park_State_Wildlife_Area-Lower_Unit) confirmation that the two are mentioned in the book Rabbit Creek Country which has excerpts here: http://jonthiem.com/Homepage/Rabbit_Creek.html
Using topos, satellite images and pictures of the farmhouse, along with Joe's super useful google maps trail system ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=http:%2F%2Fwww.joeandfrede.com%2Fcolorado%2Fmisc_trip_reports%2Fall_hikes.kmz&ie=UTF8&t=p&ll=40.457397,-105.540161&spn=0.835935,1.098633&z=10&source=embed) to confirm that Symbol Rock is the large face jutting out into the valley about a half mile east from the farmhouse, the highest contour at 6800'.
According to Joe's trail tracks and pictures, Twin Mountain is then the tiny 6600 contour just a few hundred feet south of the farmhouse.
Is this sufficient info to get these two into LOJ?
