Huerfanito summit?

Postby DArcyStraub » Wed Sep 28, 2011 11:56 pm

Any thoughts on the location of the true summit of Huerfanito? Roach in his 14ers book says the true summit is to the NE of the BM at 13,081 and the summit of Huerfanito is 13,100. This isn't reflected at LOJ.

Don't have the book handy, but on Roach's site, he lists 13081 as Huerfanito's summit elevation.

I did not find a difference substantial enough to make a change when I visited and leveled in Nov. 2008.
