Anyone been up Woods Mtn. recently?

Seems like everyone on this site has climbed Woods (near Watrous GUlch) but me, and I find myself with some time this weekend. Do conditions still warrant snowshoes? Has anyone been up lately?

I climbed Woods w/ a friend on May 30th. We did not have snowshoes and never felt they would be handy. However, that was a cold morning and the snow was very firm.

The Herman Gulch trailhead, and all trails from it are closed due to dead tree removal every week in July, 2010, Tuesday through Friday. Discovered that today when I was going to go hiking there. I guess Woods, etc. will have to wait for another day.
