Mike Offerman completed the ranked peaks of Boulder County on December 28, 2009. He is the 5th known person to record this accomplishment.
Way to go Mike! Which peak was your actual finisher? Nice job wrapping things up before year end.

Mike,

Congrats on finishing off Boulder County. I didn't realize that you were nearing completion. It was good to get a couple "unmentionable" peaks with you.

Will you be starting a new list?

Congrats Mike. You definitely take your time once you get down to the last 2 or 3 in a county - delayed gratification?

Thanks everyone. I never set off to finish Boulder, just kind of happened after I started running out of winter peaks in Larimer. I ended up on Half Nick Peak, I was going to end up on 8315, but a ranger parked at the entrance enticed me to head up the trail into Plumely Canyon!

I do tend to get to the end of lists and hold off on finishing them, kind of bitter sweet to be done...

Next on the list is to finish off the rest of RMNP and the Centennial Peaks.

Hey, Mike! I had long ago posted congratulations on 14erWorld, but had not realized until today that I'd never written anything on LOJ to send my congratulations, and my best wishes for finishing your next objectives: RMNP and Centennials. Since completing the RMNP peaks (Named plus Ranked) and Colorado County HPs last summer I've had some difficulty refocusing on clear objectives--so make certain that you'll have other things clearly in mind as you finish up on those two lists, so you don't find yourself in a "wandering" mode as I seem to be in right now. I've enjoyed getting out with you in the past and look forward to future climbs together.
