Ryan Kowalski completes the 100 highest peaks in Colorado!!!

I haven't heard the details yet....but Ryan Kowalski completed the 100 highest ranked peaks in colorado on Saturday with a successful/grueling ascent of Pikes Peak. Rumor has it that he may have celebrated the moment with a summit donut

Congrats Ryan on completing this goal before the big 3-0.

Thanks everybody! This was the first summer I've specifically concentrated on doing highest 100 peaks so I'm glad to be done so I can get back to doing whatever sounds best. Pikes Peak was a rather surreal place to finish but was worth it for the donuts (and yes steve I ate two!).

Kirk: Even years later I still think you got the raw end of the deal on that one. Coxcomb is still one of my favorites!

Jean Aschenbrenner finished on a 14er (Little Bear), but I doubt anyone has finished on Pikes!

I also know Aaron Ihinger finished on South Maroon.

I kind of liked the idea of finishing on Pikes as I suspected it might be a first.

I actually planned on finishing the highest 100 on Pikes but got impatient on the 14ers and did it as my 14er finisher before I finished the rest of the 13ers on that list (still working on it). Not sure if anyone else ever finished the top 100 on it, but I know a few others that finished their 14ers on Pikes, all of us for pretty much the same reason - so family members could drive up and join the fun.
