CO top 100 prominence

Postby TWorth » Tue Oct 07, 2008 1:49 pm

With an ascent of Mt Zwischen on 9/21, Bob Packard has climbed the top 100 prominent peaks in CO. Not bad for an AZ resident.

To me this is one of the more interesting CO peak sets, with summits from all over the mountainous part of the state, and at all elevations.

Looks like Mike Garratt finished this list on Pinon Mesa earlier this year. I believe Bob Martin had completed the list with substitutions years ago.

This is a great list and has some really unique summits on it. I think I'll peck away at this one from time to time just to add some variety. This seems like a great accomplisment to me.

We need to get Bob Packard to update his peaks more thoroughly (still shows 92 top 100). Plus, I know he did 12934 by Teocalli Mtn with his son last year as they were in the peak's register I saw over the weekend. Not sure if Bob has been updating anything below 13k or below 2k prominence in a while.
