Hey John! Yesterday the Senate passed a big lands act, included within it was the "Fowler and Boskoff Peaks Designation Act" which would officially name "Big Bear Peak" to Fowler Peak and "Woods Peak" to Boskoff Peak in the San Juans.

Section 1106 of the 695 page legislation (see bottom of page 68):

The 13,498-foot mountain peak, located at 37.8569°N, by ¥108.0117°W, in the Uncompahgre National Forest in the State of Colorado, shall be known and designated as ‘‘Fowler Peak’’. The 13,123-foot mountain peak, located at 37.85549°N, by ¥108.03112°W, in the Uncompahgre National Forest in the State of Colorado, shall be known and designated as ‘‘Boskoff Peak’’.

There are also new and revised Wilderness, National Park and National Monument areas/boundaries which could create other new work for you... Sorry! But cool to see new land protections

Yeah, posted about this on loj facebook group. Hopefully House of Reps and Trump don’t screw it up.
