Discuss Colorado's Peaks

S10

Postby RyanSchilling » Sun Jun 28, 2015 5:10 pm

I was looking through the Dwight Lavender SJM Climber's Guide, and I think the S10 label may be misplaced. Has there been any discussion on this?

From the Guide, page 53:

"S10 (12382 USGS) -- This small peak lies to the east of the Last Dollar pass. It can be climbed up its western ridge from the pass."

Which would be this 12er, if I'm not mistaken:

What do you all think?

I'll take a look later tonight - it wouldn't surprise me if that's the case. "V 8" was incorrectly interpreted for a long time also.
