Nicely done Kirk! 9082 looks like a fun little scramble.
You are now 49 9ers ahead of Teresa.... 8)

Thanks Teresa! But mostly, thanks for repeating 9082 with me. That's a pretty complicated peak, and it would have taken me a lot longer to figure out if you weren't with me.

And thanks Luke! I can't wait to see what Teresa thinks of that comment. Maybe later today. She's busy climbing 9ers right now.

Nice job Kirk! 9082 is a gem (maybe aside from the scrubby gully).

Nice work, Kirk. Looks like you're the 6th to finish.

Congrats Kirk! Looks like you didn't want to wait a few years for 9082 like Ken did. In fact, you waited all of one day. :-D

Great list of peaks. Even the lower ones are enjoyable, I think. And over 10% of the 13er list in one county. Great place.

Now on to some others! 8890 in Clear Creek really isn't that bad...

9082 was a nice peak to finish on, except for the "short" amount of terrain between the trail and summit block, that took us almost an hour. We went up and down like Teresa had a month before, some sort of roundabout way to avoid the brushy gully, but then down the brushy gully. Teresa still seems undecided which way is worse. Maybe she'd finally decide after a third visit.

Chaffee is a great county. I did like most of the low peaks - many of them have great views of the Sawatch Range and are nice off-season hikes. I was a bit surprised when I saw how many peaks there are in the county, which I only recently noticed when I decided I could finish.

Steve, I see you close to wrapping up Chaffee as well. I'm betting you won't wait a few years to finish it.

8890 in Clear Creek? Maybe I'll wait a few years on that one.

Congratulations. There has been quite a run on Chaffee County completions recently, with Steve Knapp soon to follow.
