On 6/21/14 Kevin Baker became the 18 member to finish Clear Creek county. Looks like you started back in 2003 with Mt. Evans and have climbed peaks in this county every year since. Nice work, Kevin! Any highlights? Lowlights? Looks like a great county with lots of peaks over 10k. JP

Thanks, guys! I've kind of gotten away from specifically targeting county lists the last few years, but it was good to finish this one. I had Vazquez, Stanley, and Bobtail sitting out there for quite awhile unclimbed, and finished on those. So many of these are high, publicly accessible peaks, which is why so many have finished! My first CC summit was Mount Evans way back in 2003, my 2nd 14er shortly after I moved to CO from KC. I think my favorite was The Citadel, which I have been up twice and will visit again. Funniest story was with Ryan Kowalski on the CO Mines to Bancroft traverse. We setup a nice car shuttle and were about to summit. We stumbled across a topless chick just putting her top back on, and she skied down the slope topless to the lake!
