T11 - Bridal Peak - UN 13510

I climbed "T11" (http://www.listsofjohn.com/PeakStats/Climbers.php?Id=310) this morning and found a register left on 7/22/13 by the CMC that named the peak "Unnamed, Historically Bridal Peak" with a proposal attached requesting folks to join in the effort to restore this name to the peak. The proposal referred to this website http://bridalpeak.com/ for more information so I checked it out. Turns out the name is from a Geological Survey Bulletin 1112-G dated 1955. I have no opinion either way on this but thought our group would be interested in this information.

Also, I noticed on the map UN 13432 aka "Oscars Peak" (http://www.listsofjohn.com/PeakStats/Climbers.php?Id=372 is titled Bear Mountain so I wonder if the CMC is looking to restore this historical name as well?

I have the Uncompahgre Peaks book by the company behind the proposal - it's interesting from a historical perspective, but not 100% accurate, at least when referencing SJM name locations. There is no dispute about the label on the USGS bulletin - I'll add it as an alternate unofficial name.
