Well, Its been nearly a week since Futhermore climbed his final 13'er down in the San Juan's. I have enjoyed reading all your trip reports & watching in amazement as you kept bagging not only the 13'ers but all their neighbors as well. Some day I hope to join the elite 13'er club. Best of luck on your future climbs.

Nice work Derek! Way to get them all before 30!

It was a pleasure to complete some of the tougher loops we did in the San Juans (Trinities same day as all these WTF?):

Derek,
Congratulations for not only finishing the 13/14 list but for all the others you've climbed. We've read many of your reports & you definitely know how to put in a LONG, multiple peak day!

Having done so many of the 13ers a second time or more myself, it is obvious that one of the 'newby' speed demons will want to be the first do the 13ers a second round.

Wonder who was the first to do the 14ers on a second round???

It sounds like the best way to get motivated to do the 13ers redux is to get divorced, marry someone who has not done them yet, and start over.

But the real question in my mind is when will someone do all the unranked 13ers??? Now that is a challenging list with some technical doozies.

Oy. Late to the game again. Congrats, Derek! Good work!

Even just finishing the soft-ranked peaks 13k and above would be interesting. Looks like you're the only one who has done that, Mike. And only 20 more non-ranked peaks left....
