Kirk Mallory completes the Utah county highpoints

This morning on Naomi Peak. This list contains a good number of challenging peaks, and many of the rest are pleasant hikes to summits with great views. UT is a pretty place! Congrats, Kirk, and thanks for letting me tag along on several of your trips for these.

Thanks!

My original hope for this trip was to complete another Utah list - the 17 ranked thirteeners, but the weather wasn't good enough for backpacking. Figured it was a good time to finish those last 6 county high points, which were all fairly easy. Utah is a great state with a lot of variety, and I'll be back for more. Hopefully I can get those thirteeners done by the end of this summer.

Very nice, congrats Kirk! I was starting to think you'd moved to Utah with all the peaks you've done there this year. Looks like a pretty nice list, with 27 of the 29 ranked and all above 9k. Much different than CO with all the flat eastern plains counties.

It's a great list with lots of variety. I like that all of them are mountains; or at least, the two liners (Kane & Wasatch Counties) are liners on a mountain. And all are on public land, which is a huge plus for me!
