Peaks near Las Vegas, NV

Postby RichAllen » Tue Apr 27, 2010 7:04 pm

I suddenly find myself accompanying my wife to Vegas in a couple of days. Anyone know of some summits, ranked or unranked, that are easily accessible nearby? Thanks,

I'll try to help, but I need some more info. 2 wheel drive passenger car? How close of a drive are you looking for? How long of a hike, i.e. miles, vertical gain, yds class rating? Wanting snow or no snow? COHP, alot of prominence?

2 wheel drive passenger car. 10 mile hike or less. Don't care about vertical gain. Class 3 or lower. Don't care aboput prom or HP...just want to add some summits while I am there. Closer to vegas the better

Potosi to the west and Frenchman to the east are two that come to mind
