Congrats to kalet (belated)

While NV was being developed somewhat behind the scenes, Brian Kalet finished off the county summits of his home county, Carson City County 4-15-08, becoming the first known NV county summits list finisher. He's about half-way done with two other NV counties.

Nice work. I never expected the county summits concept to extend to NV, much less see a list completion. Looks like some interesting destinations to keep in mind if I ever get to the Lake Tahoe area.

Thanks! 7200 B is my favorite because it's a quick walk from the road with a surprising 3rd class finish and great views of Lake Tahoe. I don't know which peaks are off limits due to the Air Force but have encountered private property while attempting peaks in both Storey and Washoe counties, so have given up on trying to complete those counties.

Brian,

Do you still remember what peak(s) in Storey county you encountered private property? I had considered trying to finish this county as well until happened across this post from a while back.

Al,

Unfortunately, my notes were kept on paper and were probably discarded in the process of moving to Grand Junction or Fort Collins. However, I do remember Chalk Bluff and 6935 turned me back because of private property.
