WP's for the summits in Courtney Purcell's guidebook?

Postby CandaceS » Sun Oct 14, 2018 2:50 pm

I got a copy of the "Rambles and Scrambles" guidebook by Courtney Purcell. I love the book, but I don't love the lack of any maps! Maybe I'm just spoiled by other guidebooks. But it sure would be helpful to have some overview maps that show the summits, so I can see where they are.

The summit coordinates for each peak are in the book. But I have to input them by hand into Google Earth or similar if I want to have an idea where each peak is.

I wonder if there's a GPX or KMZ file that contains the summit coordinates for each peak in the book? Perhaps I need to contact Courtney with this question, but I thought it was worth asking here first. :loj:

Had the data in the background, but not formally in a list.

Here's the custom list:
https://www.listsofjohn.com/clist?lid=1666

Map: https://www.listsofjohn.com/clistmap?lid=1666

And Export:
https://www.listsofjohn.com/PeakStats/C ... p?lid=1666

There are a few things in the book that don't count as peaks here on LoJ (primarily small prominence elevation-only points and benchmarks).
