Peak 4980 (UT)

The peak below shows a telemetry spot elevation of 4989:

Should 4989 be the LOJ elevation?

The contours are confusing (maybe the 4989 is an error), but I seem to vaguely remember that the highpoint is somewhere around the point marked as 4989? :?: I know I've climbed up to what I thought was the highpoint of that area (as a side trip for the U Turn Route), but I don' remember where the highpoint was.

The highpoint location as indicated on LoJ is correct and is higher than spot elevation 4989. However, the map is incorrect as the 4989' spot elevation is found in the 4920' contour. So, either the spot elevation is in error, which is consistent with the peak page on LoJ, or the contour line is in error, which would suggest that the elevation of the peak should be interpolated to 4994'. Another example of a similar inconsistency can be found with Pine Ridge, where Gerry Roach assumes the spot elevation is correct and the contour line is incorrect.
